Full basement refresh in New Rochelle: hung ~40 sheets of 1/2" drywall — a new ceiling after the drop tiles came down, and walls boarded over the existing paneling with studs located and marked through the panels. Mid-job we found a rotted bottom plate and termite-damaged studs, so we installed a new pressure-treated base plate anchored to the block and sistered 25 studs, then ran a 12" cement-board band along the base of the exterior walls for moisture protection. Taped, three-coat finish, orange-peel spray texture, primed and painted. We also snaked the exterior drain and cleared the root intrusion.
